Guess who's got a new roof.
This guy.
Yep, it's finally finished. The fact that I no longer have to go into panic-mode whenever storm clouds come along is a huge relief. Now I just have to avoid looking at the equally anxiety-inducing bill.
I know that's been a huge source of worry for you. Glad it's finally behind you.
ReplyDeleteMe too! Now it's on to the million other things to do.
DeleteIt's not a fun purchase, but it's also money you'll never regret spending!
ReplyDeleteNot fun at all, but the roof does look great.
DeleteHooray! Now you can get working on/staging that cool master bedroom! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteStill have a ways to go, but we should be moved up there shortly. It'll be nice to have all that spca. The bedroom is like 40' x 25'. It's a bit ridiculous.
DeleteCongratulations; can't wait to see what you put together under that roof next!
ReplyDeleteWell, I can already tell you what's next. A new drywall ceiling that isn't water-damaged! Oh the joys of home-ownership...
DeleteHurrah! Now just watch out for nails in the grass... *sigh*
ReplyDeleteAlready came across a few of those mowing the lawn last weekend. Good thing I don't park on the driveway. My tires would be toast.
DeleteI can totally relate! I got a new roof two days before Christmas. Was glad to eliminate the bucket collecting water in my attic. I still need to repair my peeling dining room ceiling. I asked the contractor multiple times about the nails, and they went around the yard multiple times with their magnet, but I still found a couple nails recently. grrr. It feels good to not worry about leaks when it rains, though.
