Master bedroom update: it's movin' along
The master bedroom, or as we like to call it, the studio loft, is now looking much more habitable. Just a few short months ago, this was nothing but a storage space crammed floor-to-ceiling with jumbles of MCM junk.
It still requires some finishing touches like drywall repair, paint, some electrical wiring, and general decorating, but I like the way is coming together. That's quite a result for a room that's just full of all the leftover furniture that didn't make the cut for downstairs. A dining table in the bedroom? It's the next hot trend!

Your cast off furniture is the stuff that would take center stage at my place. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks anon. Sometimes things just don't work in a space and you can't fit them in. Luckily, most of the stuff that didn't work downstairs does upstairs. Made things easy.
DeleteI really like this. You have it looking great. Has it become your master bedroom, or is it your guest room?
ReplyDeleteAt some point it will be, but for right now I am still sleeping downstairs to keep our utility bills down. It's quite a large room and closing the vents up there saves a bundle.
DeleteThis looks amazing! I love how it has turned out. I've just changed my desktop wallpaper so I can pretend i'm there all of the time.
