The Barcelona in stonewashed denim: a work of tongue-in-cheek postmodern art or the world's worst upholstery job? You decide.

There are some sights so horrifying that words simply cannot convey the shock and revulsion that they induce, so I'll just post the pictures.





Your eyes do not deceive you.  This is a Barcelona chair upholstered in stonewashed denim.  It is an actual chair that really exists and you can purchase it off of the St. Louis Craigslist today.

You can close your eyes and pretend that this never happened, but it cannot be unseen.

    De-lurking to say that words completely fail me... I don't know whether to laugh or cry, but probably cry. Travesty seems like such a strong word but yet it's so appropriate.

    There is nothing ironic about this it is just bad. Fortunately two new cushions is a simple fix.

    This is just so wrong on so many levels! I'm amazed that someone put that much time and effort into ruining such a great chair. Fortunately it's reversable!

    That is quite possibly the most revolting thing I have ever seen. You are so right -- things like that can never be "unseen"

    You have GOT TO MAKE IT STOP this instant! I already have an aversion to anything made of denim - especially things that shouldn't be - like pocketbooks.....and for god's sake - chairs!
